WNBA superstar Angel Reese roasted NFL legend Robert Griffin III for his assertion that the rising Chicago Sky forward âhatesâ Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark.
In a controversial X (formerly Twitter) post shared on Wednesday, July 10, RGIII accused Reese of sharing a video âthat aided in my wife, kids, family and friends receiving death threats, threats of physical harm to my family and friends and threats of sexual violence to my children on social media and beyond.â
The NFL legend went on to claim that âAngel Reese has grown to hate Caitlin Clark because of the media always asking her about Caitlin and being constantly compared to her. Some people made it about race, but I never did and never will. Instead of becoming the villain in anyoneâs story, I decided to just not.â
That assertion didnât sit well with Reese, who immediately took to her own X account to address the matter.
âLying on this app when everybody know the first and last name of everybody in my circle for clout is nastyyyy work,â she wrote, seemingly addressing RGIIIâs claim, though not directly tagging the former Washington quarterback.
I spoke up in support of Angel Reese against racism not to start drama. But I wonât let anyone twist the truth just because itâs inconvenient to them. Instead of trying to check me, just tighten up your circle. They calling me and saying you hate Caitlin Clark, not the other way
âInstead of trying to check me, just tighten up your circle,â he wrote. âThey calling me and saying you hate Caitlin Clark, not the other way around. I have zero interest in being the villain in anyoneâs story. I just want to have fun, tell the truth and celebrate sports.â
RGIII first claimed that Reese and Clark had an ongoing rivalry back in May 2025, when he claimed that the pairâs rivalry went beyond the basketball court â a claim Clark herself denied.
âLetâs not make it anything that itâs not. It was just a good play on the basketball. Iâm not sure what the refs saw to upgrade it. Thatâs up to their discretion,â she said to reporters at the time.
Clark has not commented on RGIIIâs most recent claims.
Angel Reeseâs Wild 4-Word Fast Food Bombshell Stuns Fans with Excitement and Fear

Angel Reese had a four-word announcement that set fast food lovers off this Thursday, although some fans were also worried.
Reese, who is playing out her second WNBA season, just made the cover of NBA 2K, but she was excited about something else today, taking to social media to rejoice over the return of McDonaldâs Snack Wrap.
The wrap went away in 2020 despite being one of the more popular items on the McâD menu, but itâs since returned. And it appears there arenât many people who are as ecstatic as Angel.
As far as foodies go, we wouldnât expect the Chicago Sky forward to be among the most vocal, but the wrap certainly brought her out of her shell in that regard as she announced the glad tidings via X.
âSnack wrap is back. #needdat,â she wrote in a tweet.
The post quickly went viral and had racked up well over 160K views in a few hours, as well as several comments.
âAy girl, you already know Iâm hitting the drive-thru ASAPđ„,â one fan wrote.
âSelling out through tweets now,â another claimed.

Now, perhaps Angel has other motivations when it comes to McDonaldâs, given that thereâs some history. The fast food franchise launched an âAngel Reese Mealâ last year, offering customers a BBQ Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese, fries, and a drink.
We donât doubt that sheâs fond of the Snack Wrap, and thereâs certainly an opportunity for further business.
Meanwhile, Reese has established herself as a force in the womenâs game, especially on the boards, having shown notable improvement in her second season. However, her team isnât doing all that well and nurse a 6-13 record.
The Sky would need to go on a huge run to qualify for the playoffs, with the All-Star break now almost here.
If itâs any consolation, at least Snack Wraps are back.
