Tom Homan’s Huge Gamble Just Paid Off-Tim Walz and Ilhan Omar Furious!

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — In a stunning display of leadership that has sent shockwaves through the Democratic establishment, White House border policy adviser Tom Homan has secured a massive victory for public safety in the heart of Minnesota.

Walking directly into a political firestorm, Homan’s “huge gamble” to personally oversee operations in the Twin Cities has paid off spectacularly. Despite the fury of radical progressives like Governor Tim Walz and Rep. Ilhan Omar, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison has capitulated to federal demands, agreeing to a critical new protocol that prioritizes the safety of American citizens over the protection of criminal aliens.

A BREAKTHROUGH FOR LAW AND ORDER

Homan announced on Thursday that federal immigration enforcement in the Minneapolis area isn’t going anywhere. More importantly, he revealed the results of a “very productive” meeting with AG Ellison. In a move that addresses a longstanding grievance of federal law enforcement, Ellison has agreed to notify ICE when local jails are preparing to release violent illegal aliens.

This agreement marks a significant crack in the “sanctuary” wall that has long protected criminals in blue states. Homan laid out the common-sense logic that forced Ellison’s hand: arresting a criminal in the controlled environment of a jail is infinitely safer than hunting them down on the streets.

“One ICE agent can arrest one bad guy when he’s behind the safety and security of a jail… and we know he doesn’t have weapons,” Homan explained. “But when you release that public safety threat illegal alien back into the community—we have a job to do. We’re going to arrest him, so we’re going to find him.”

By forcing local authorities to cooperate, Homan is not only ensuring that violent offenders are deported but also protecting the lives of his agents who would otherwise be forced to conduct high-risk raids in neighborhoods.

“WE’RE NOT LEAVING”

Homan’s message to the rioters and obstructionists was unequivocal: “President Trump wants this fixed and I’m going to fix it with your help… We’re going to do our jobs. And we’re not leaving until this problem is gone.”

The administration is shifting tactics to focus intensely on aliens with serious criminal records, utilizing the intelligence and cooperation Homan has now secured.

RIOTS SPREAD TO SUBURBS

The victory comes as the radical left escalates its violent resistance to Operation Metro Surge. On Monday night, the chaos spread from the city center to the suburbs of Maple Grove. Approximately 200 protesters besieged a SpringHill Suites hotel, mistakenly believing that Acting Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino was inside.

The mob blocked traffic, damaged property, and threw debris at police. In response, the Minnesota State Patrol deployed a Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD)—a military-grade system—to issue dispersal orders. When the mob refused to leave, officers moved in, arresting 26 individuals for unlawful assembly and riotous conduct.

While the left continues to protest the lawful removal of criminal aliens—citing the recent death of Alex Pretti during a federal operation—Homan’s success with AG Ellison proves that the tide is turning. The era of non-cooperation is ending, and federal law is once again supreme in Minnesota.
